As a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Accredited Foundation Coach, I offer a therapeutic approach to coaching that combines the practical focus of coaching with the depth of my experience in psychotherapy. Coaching can provide valuable space to pause, reflect and think about what you want, particularly during times when life feels uncertain, you are facing a transition, or you simply feel ready for something to change.
Sometimes we have a sense that we are stuck, lacking confidence or unsure about what direction to take, but it can be difficult to see clearly when we are caught up in everyday life. Coaching offers an opportunity to step back and explore what is important to you, what may be getting in the way and what you would like to be different. Together, we can identify what you want to work towards and consider realistic steps that feel meaningful and achievable.

My approach is collaborative and person centred. I will not tell you what you should do or give you a set of answers, but will work alongside you to help you develop greater clarity and confidence in your own decisions. My experience as a psychotherapist also means that I bring an understanding of the emotional and psychological factors that can influence the way we think, feel and respond. While coaching is focused on the present and future, we can acknowledge these influences where they are relevant, without losing sight of the goals and changes you want to make.
Coaching can be helpful for a wide range of circumstances, including periods of personal change, building confidence, making decisions, developing greater self awareness or finding a clearer sense of direction. You do not necessarily need to arrive with a specific goal in mind. Sometimes the starting point is simply knowing that something needs to change and wanting some space to work out what that might look like. From there, we can explore things at your own pace and work towards changes that feel right for you.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also text or whatsapp me on 07481 727663. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
